Cultural Cocktail: Cherri Barnett’s vision becomes Madison Square Center for the Arts

MONDAYS are busy days at the Madison Square Center for the Arts. From the first floor of the 124-year-old building that once housed Madison-Ridgeland High School, one can hear classical ballet music; children’s feet running on hardwood; yelling (the good kind) from the drama class; and the thrum of a guitar.
